About Us

Our Commitment to Animal Welfare

Animal Rights Advocacy Network Uganda is dedicated to ending the inhumane treatment of animals, focusing particularly on the plight of hens confined in cages. Founded by passionate activists, including an experienced animal lawyer, we are committed to promoting ethical and sustainable farming practices across Uganda.

To advocate for the rights and welfare of animals in Uganda by promoting humane practices, raising public awareness, and influencing policies that protect animals from inhumane treatment.

Through research, advocacy, community engagement, and corporate outreach, we strive to create lasting change, ensuring that every animal is treated with the dignity they deserve.

To create a Uganda where all animals, especially hens in cages, are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, living free from suffering and exploitation.

Transforming Compassion into Action

Awareness Campaigns

We run educational campaigns to inform the public about the harsh realities faced by animals, especially hens in cages. Our efforts aim to raise consciousness about the ethical, environmental, and health impacts of current farming practices.

Humane Farming Practices

We work with farmers, businesses, and communities to transition to humane farming practices. Our goal is to improve the welfare of animals by promoting and implementing ethical and sustainable farming methods.

Policy Advocacy

Our team engages with government authorities, policymakers, and stakeholders to advocate for laws and regulations that protect animals from cruelty and exploitation. We strive to influence policy changes that ensure better treatment of animals in agriculture.

Research and Documentation

We conduct thorough research to document the conditions of animals in Uganda. Our findings support our advocacy efforts and provide evidence for policy recommendations and public awareness campaigns.

Partnerships and Collaboration

We build strong networks with local and international organizations, activists, and volunteers. By fostering collaboration, we enhance our impact and advance the cause of animal welfare more effectively.

Community Empowerment

We provide resources and training to communities and farmers to help them adopt more ethical and sustainable farming practices. Our initiatives empower stakeholders to make compassionate choices for animal welfare.
